Accessibility — Everybody Gets Snapped

Good photos are for everybody. Here's what we do on this website and at our sessions, and how to ask for anything else you need. If we can make it work, we will.

At your session

Our set locations are public Washington County parks — Hagerstown City Park, Pangborn Park, and Fairgrounds Park. Each has paved areas near parking, and each also has grass, slopes, and uneven ground in places; parks are parks. When you book, tell us what you need in the "Anything we should know?" box — mobility, seating, sensory, anything — and we will plan your session around the most step-free, comfortable route and spots at that location, and pace the session to you. Seated portraits are always an option; nobody has to stand, climb, or hike for a great photo. A support person is welcome at every session, free, always.

Courthouse Minis meet at the Washington County Courthouse, a public building with accessible entrances; the portraits right after happen on the surrounding sidewalks — tell us your needs and we'll plan the route.

On this website

We build this site to be usable by everyone: real text (not pictures of text), keyboard-friendly navigation with a skip-to-content link, visible focus outlines, labels on every form field, alt text on images, motion that respects your reduced-motion setting, and layouts that hold up at high zoom and on small screens. We aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 AA standard, the usual benchmark for accessible websites.

Ask us

Need something we haven't thought of? Put it in the "Anything we should know?" box on the booking form, or use the "Questions? Snap us." button on any page. Requests are read by a human, answered plainly, and never change your price — accommodations are not an upsell here. The price is the price.

This statement describes what we do and aim for; park conditions are set by Washington County and can change with weather and maintenance. Tell us your needs when you book and we'll confirm the plan for your specific day and location before it's final.
